About us:
The Herkimer County Historical Society owns two buildings:
The Sutier Building houses the permanent exhibit "All in a Days Work: Working People, Working Lives in Herkimer County" and the Doll House Collection.
The Eckler Building, located next door, houses the resource center, gift shop and offices.


Directions:
Located at Herkimer Historic Four Corners at 400 and 406 North Main Street. Take Thruway (I-90) Exit 30. Turn right onto Mohawk Street. Stay on Mohawk Street which dead ends into South Main Street. Turn left across Route 5, continue straight, go past Green Street and Mary Street. Located at the corner of Court Street and 400 North Main Street. Come to Eckler Building at 406 North Main Street first in order to obtain access to the museum at 400 North Main Street.
